Beyza Nur has had the opportunity of having internship at the
Standard Profil Group thanks to the “I want to Work” Project!
Beyza Nur Baş who resides in Van completed the final year at the
Faculty of Economics and Administrative
Sciences at Yüzüncü Yıl University in 2018.
Beyza thinks that business life in Istanbul adds productivity to
persons academically and enhances their practice and believes that the period
that passes through this way is an advantage for learning the unknown places.
Beyza Nur has had the opportunity of having internship at the
Standard Profil Group thanks to the “I want to Work” Project of the Women’s
Platform of the Austrian High School Alumni Society as well as to her highly
esteemed teachers who supported her. She extends her thanks to everyone who
have contributed.
The tension she experienced during the first internship period was
replaced by a comfortable and pleasurable period of internship thanks to the
smiling faces of the Standard Profil employees and the supportive attitudes of
her team leaders. Beyza tells us that as her workmates supported her by
personally taking care of her in the issues that she found it difficult to deal
with, she was able to overcome her incompetences and develop working capability
very soon.
Beyza states that her favorite book since her childhood has been
Brazilian writer José Mauro De Vasconcelos's Sweet Orange. She says the book
that features the adventures of Zeze, a five year-old child of a poor family
living in Brazil’s Minas Gerais area, with highly developed imagination, has
been the book that provided her the most pleasure at all times.
Interested in poetry closely in addition to literature, Beyza
likes writing and reading poems. She says her target in business life is to be
an academician following her master’s.
Finally, she adds
that she believes women must take part in the world of business actively as in
every area and that the manner of thinking of women presents different
viewpoints to businesses.
